Taylor Swift received a thunderous standing ovation after making a candid revelation just moments into tonight’s performance.
The global pop sensation graced the stage for the third and final time on her Eras Tour in L4 this Saturday. The 34-year-old megastar was visibly moved by the overwhelming reaction following her rendition of “Cruel Summer” at the show’s commencement.
Taking a moment to connect with her fans, Taylor expressed her feelings: “Liverpool just look at you. I’ve got to be honest, you’re making me feel absolutely fantastic right now.”

The Anfield crowd erupted in cheers as the singer acknowledged each section of the audience. She confessed feeling honoured to perform in Liverpool on a Saturday night, adding: “That was really cool.”
“That went immediately to my head. You guys just made me feel really, really powerful. I get to play a sold out show in Liverpool on a Saturday night.”, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Later in the evening, Taylor reflected on the privilege of performing in Liverpool and extended her gratitude to the fans for choosing to spend their evening at her concert. She remarked: “What an honour and a delight it is to say this to you tonight this for you tonight.
“Liverpool welcome to the Eras tour. Here I stand before you on our third and final night getting to play for you here in Liverpool. And I’m looking at this crowd and I’m thinking to myself.
“It wasn’t just one decision you made to spend your Saturday night with us at the Eras tour. There are a lot of people here from Liverpool, am I correct about that?
“We also have a lot of people here who have travelled a big distance to be here, right? So I’m standing here, looking out on a Saturday night of your summer, and this many of you decided to make hundreds of choices that all ended you here, parking and transport and travel.
“And so first of all I want to say thank you for every single choice you’ve made that has ended you here. It is going to be the number one goal of everyone on this stage to make you proud of those decisions to spend time with us on a Saturday night.
“We already got off to a fantastic start because you guys got to see one of the best bands ever. Now you and I are going to go on a grand adventure, it’s going to span 18 years of music, one era at a time, how does that sound?
“Here’s the thing you’re about to hear a lot of song, a lot of them, these a song are things I wrote about my life or my feelings, and maybe that’s what you think about when you hear this song out in the world, but after tonight when you hear these song your gonna think of us an the memories we made on the Eras tour.”
Taylor Swift’s next stop on her UK Eras tour is Cardiff where she will play at the Principality Stadium on Tuesday, June 15.
